Aston Martin One-77
British manufacturer unveiled at the Auto Salon in Geneva the new One-77.
The new model will be built in only 77 copies and will have a V12 engine of 7.3 liters that develops 700 hp. With a weight of 1500 kg, it is estimated that the One-77 will accelerate from 0 to 100 in approximately 3.5 seconds, while maximum speed exceeding 320 km/h.
The One-77 also features a monocoque tub comprised entirely of carbon fiber, which helps keep its curb weight around 3,300 lbs. A unique inboard suspension system, six-speed sequential manual gearbox and carbon ceramic brakes all around are a few of the standard features of the One-77.
Aston Martin is building only 77 examples of this remarkable car. The first is due to be delivered to a customer before the end of 2009 with the remaining 76 units coming in 2010.
The One-77 will be the most powerful and fastest Aston Martin ever made.
